Information will be available on personal care homes from Sunny Grove, which is aimed at helping independent seniors. Heritage Inn of Barnesville will have health care agents on hand. A Walgreens pharmacist will answer questions and consult with participants about their medications. Coastal Home Care will check blood pressure and offer nutrition and cooking tips. Monroe County Hospital will offer body mass index screening, information on breast health and glucose screening. Upson Regional Medical Center Physical Therapy in Barnesville will assess posture and balance. Clayton Family Chiropractic Clinic will talk about its services and offer muscle release therapy. Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork will offer a little massage therapy. Anytime Fitness will have a presentation. McIntosh Trai will have information on community care for the aged and disabled. Elder law will be discussed by Robert Goldberg & Associates. The Lamar County Health Department will offer flu shots for $25 cash or Medicare. Three Rivers Area Agency on Aging will have Medicare assistance. Connect Hearing will offer hearing screening services. Heartland, Homestead Hospice and Gentiva will offer information on hospice services. Amedisys Home Health, Care South and Gentiva will test oxygen saturation. Kidney information will be offered by Southside Kidney Clinic. Lamar County Counseling Center will have information on mental health. Dr. Dana Peterman of Monroe County Rehab will discuss its rehabilitation services. John’s Place will discuss its respite ministry. Crafts and food will also be available for purchase.
