Hearing in murder case is Wednesday

Accused killer Jamarris Latuan Williams is scheduled to appear at a pretrial conference in Lamar superior court before Judge Bill Fears Wednesday. Williams allegedly summoned the cab of John Dixson, stabbed Dixson in the throat and left him to die in a southeast Lamar County ravine on March 16, 2012. He is charged with malice murder, three counts felony murder, armed robbery, two counts aggravated assault and hijacking a motor vehicle. Williams is represented by public defender Douglas Smith. The court session begins at 9 a.m.
