Heavy rain falling on already saturated ground resulted in some localized flooding Monday evening in Barnesville-Lamar County. No major damage was reported and no one was injured though some kids playing in the headwaters of Tobesofkee Creek near the intersection of Gordon Road and Cherokee Drive in Barnesville were ordered out of the water after police spotted them. Our rain gauge collected 6.5 inches from Thursday through Tuesday morning. How much rain did you get and where in the county are you located?
