Henry James Dupree Jr.

Mr. Henry James Dupree Jr., age 73, of Milner passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012 in a Jackson healthcare facility.Mr. Dupree was born in Acworth to the late Mr. Henry James Dupree Sr. and the late Mrs. Nellie Irene Priest Dupree. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Barry James Dupree. Mr. Dupree had been a maintenance engineer for Community Management Services. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Dupree of Milner; one daughter, Janet Dupree Cook (and John) of Suwanee; one son, Daniel William Dupree (and Dawn) of Senoia; one sister, Dolly Taylor of Acworth; six grandchildren, Abby Michelle Cook, Alex Chandler Cook, Lindsey Elaine Dupree, Haley Danielle Dupree, Daren McCullough and Skylar Marsengil; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services for Mr. Henry James Dupree Jr. will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Burk officiating. Interment will be held Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. at Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro.
