Mr. Herbert Lee Daniel, age 82, of Lamar County passed away Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013 at his residence. A native of Asheville, N.C., Mr. Daniel was a Korean War veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Daniel is survived by his son, Chancey Daniel of Jackson. Funeral services for Mr. Herbert Lee Daniel will be conducted from the graveside on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville.
