Gordon College finds itself two games behind Middle Georgia with a three game weekend series with the Warriors looming in Cochran. The Highlanders managed just one win in their conference series with Georgia Perimeter here winning 18-8 Friday night before falling to the Jaguars in both games of a Saturday twinbill, 8-2 and 6-4.The Warriors swept three games over the weekend with Andrew.Gordon is now 24-16 overall and 10-5 in NJCAA Region XVII play while league leading Middle Georgia is 25-13 overall and 12-3 in the conference.Georgia Perimeter and South Georgia are tied for third at 9-6 each while Young Harris is currently in fifth at 8-7.Gordon will host South Georgia in a two o’clock game Tuesday afternoon at the Highlander Athletic Complex. That game will not figure into the conference standings.
