By Ken K. Green Gordon College men’s basketball team beat Southern Crescent Tech, Marion Military and Atlanta Sports Academy in three of their first four games to open the 2011-12 season. The Highlanders lost to perennial junior college powerhouse Tallahassee Community College for their only loss thus far. Gordon gets a chance to redeem itself against Tallahassee tonight at Alumni Memorial Hall on the local campus. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. The Highlanders did not disappoint a full house at Alumni Memorial Hall on opening night as they slammed Southern Crescent 121-69. Gordon’s Marquis Barnes led all scorers with 31 points while Reigarvius Williams had a double-double, tallying 19 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
