Barnesville police are seeking two men in connection with a home invasion-style armed robbery January 27 at Magnolia Apartments on Greenwood Street in Barnesville. BPD investigator Al Moltrum reported six men were gambling in an apartment when they were robbed at approximately 11:43 p.m. The gamblers heard a knock at the door and the occupant answered it. At that time, two black males wearing masks forced their way into the room and fired three shots from a 9 millimeter handgun. Money was taken from two of the gamblers, one of whom was struck in the face. The invaders then fled toward Greenwood Street where they are thought to have gotten into a getaway car. Other than the blow to the face, no one was injured. Of the three rounds fired, two hit a wall and one went into the floor.
