LCHS homecoming activities kick into high gear today with a parade, powderpuff game and bonfire.Today is Throwback Thursday. Students are asked to dress in attire from a previous decade. The parade line-up begins at 4:30 p.m. at Summers Field and the parade will begin at 5 p.m. Afterward the Powder Puff Championship Game will be held at 6:30 p.m. and the bonfire and pep rally at 7:45 p.m. behind Trojan Field on Victory Lane.Friday, Oct. 17 will be Spirit Day. The door contest will be judged and the presentation of the homecoming court and king will be held at 2:10 p.m. Winners of the float contest and door decorating will be announced.The Trojans battle NE Macon Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Trojan Field.Vying for homecoming queen are seniors Sarinya Lyons, Krystal Marrero, Sydney Moore, Laurel Slagle and Brailey Davis. The junior representative is Mary Ashley Tenney. Sophomores are represented by Victoria Hatten and the freshmen by Alyssa Maisonet.The queen will be crowned at halftime.
