Hunt still on for woman missing since July

Spalding authorities have not given up hope of finding a Alzheimer’s victim who has been missing for nearly a year now. From sheriff Wendell Beam: On July 4, 2012 Gloria Jean Brownlee was reported missing from her residence at 101 Wilti Road Griffin, Georgia. Wilti Road is located in eastern Spalding County off of Jenkinsburg Road, which is not far from the Henry County line and just east of Interstate 75. The Spalding County Sheriff’s Office began several intense searches of the area for Ms Brownlee and could not locate her. The family of Ms Brownlee reached out to a private organization who handles ground searches and she still could not be located. The Spalding County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the Alzheimer’s Association who assisted with making phone calls to residence within a 25 mile radius, the Missing Persons Association assisted, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have all assisted with the investigation. The Spalding County Sheriff’s Office and the family of Ms. Brownlee are asking for the help from the public with information that could lead to the location of Ms. Brownlee. Ms Brownlee is 57 years old, approx 5’5’ tall, 170 pounds, with short black hair. She was last seen wearing an orange shirt with black pants and curlers in her hair.
