A fatality accident on I-75 in Lamar County near the High Falls Rd. exit killed one and left traffic snarled for about nine hours Friday. A Chevy Cobalt allegedly cut in front of a tractor-trailer rig, colliding with it. Both vehicles overturned. The truck driver Alan Scott Percosky, 45 of Jacksonville died at the scene. The Chevy driver, 29-year-old Paige Nicole Brown of Chattanooga, was charged with first degree vehicular homicide, DUI and other offenses. Brown was unhurt and is now housed in the Lamar County jail. The crash occurred at 3:30 a.m. Traffic was still being routed around the crash at noon.
