Although signage on its building at the corner of Taylor Street and College Drive in Barnesville indicates OB’s BBQ is just closed for the holiday weekend, there are numerous indications the business has closed for good. On July 1, several men were spotted stripping tables and removing items from the walls. They told Herald-Gazette/barnesville.com staffers the building is undergoing renovations. However, several employees have contacted us via facebook to report they were told they had received their final checks. What is the word out there? Will OB’s be back or has it faded into OBlivion?
