With no local races on the ballot, turnout is expected to be abysmally low here in today’s general primary runoff voting.Polling places throughout the county will be open from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.Elections supervisor Anita Reid said she had only 176 early voters last week and mailed out only 72 advance ballots for the runoff. Of those, 37 were returned and 2 were rejected. The most heated race is on the Republican ballot where Karen Handel and Nathan Deal are seeking their party’s gubernatorial nomination.
