Mr. Jack Benjamin Davis, age 89, of Milner passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, March 30, 2012.Mr. Davis was a native of Forest Park and was the son of the late Mr. Thomas Davis and the late Mrs. Mary Williams Davis. He was retired as a heavy equipment operator from Vulcan Materials/Stockbridge Stone.Survivors include one son, Richard (and Cheryl) Davis of Fayetteville; two daughters, Jacquelyn (and Bill) Wells of Milner and Susan Ford of Locust Grove; one brother, John F. Davis of Hampton; and one sister, Clatie Wheeler of Hampton. Seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral services for Mr. Jack Benjamin Davis will be conducted from graveside on Monday, April 2, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the Forest Park City Cemetery in Forest Park, Ga.
