James Milton Hall

Mr. James Milton Hall, age 90, of Barnesville passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Brightmoor Hospice. Mr. Hall was born in Floyd County, Ga., to the late Mr. George Samuel Hall and to the late Mrs. Hattie Florence Coley Hall. Mr. Hall lived in Fairburn, Ga., from 1933 until 1992. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the 101st Airborne. Mr. Hall landed on Normandy Beach and fought in the Battle of Bastogne and the Battle of the Bulge. Mr. Hall was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Barnesville for 20 years. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Pat Hall of Barnesville; a daughter, Cyndi (and Gene) Wheeler of Barnesville; two grandchildren, Scott Wheeler and Josh Wheeler, both of Griffin; four great-grandchildren; also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews who all dearly loved him. Funeral services for Mr. James Milton Hall will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2013 from the chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Allen Newman officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home on Friday, July 12, 2013 from 1 p.m. until the service hour.
