Jo Ann Wright, age 73, of Barnesville passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at her residence.
Jo Ann was born in Thomaston, Georgia on January 1, 1952. She owned and operated, Wright’s Cleaning Service and attended the First Assembly of God in Thomaston. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Joe and Mary F. Montgomery Reese; and brother, Lamar Reese.
She is survived by her sons, Aaron (Christy) Strom and Dennis (Cassie) Strom; companion, Randy Sims; grandchildren, Blaze (Shannon) Strom, Landon Strom, Cloe Strom, McKenna Strom, and Charlie Strom; great-grandchildren, Xander Strom, Ryker Strom, Salem Strom, and Stella Strom; sisters, Sylvia Summers, Connie Winters, Gloria (Robbie) Mallory, and Nancy McCarty; and brothers, Sonny (Rita) Reese and Joe Coote.
A visitation will be on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, followed by a 2:00 PM service in the chapel. Pastor Joel Trice will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
