Mr. John ‘Jay’ Thomas Zellner Sr. of Fayetteville passed away on Aug. 1, 2013. He enjoyed a managerial international career, traveling over 20 times to South Africa and other parts of the globe. He was a fine Christian man, loving father and devoted husband. Jay was generous to a fault in support of his family activities. He is survived by his wife Barbara Zellner; sons John Zellner Jr. and Mark Zellner; daughters Natalie Zellner Disantis and Ila Zellner Langan; grandchildren Dennis Disantis and James Langan; brother Rev. Dan Zellner; also nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Jonesboro First United Methodist Church. Rev. Dr. George Freeman will officiate. The burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Carl J. Mowell Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
