Bobby and Erica Whitaker of Barnesville announce the birth of their son Jonah Ray Whitaker at 4:33 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, 2010 at Spalding Regional Medical Center in Griffin. He weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 18 and a half inches long. Maternal grandparents are James and Ella Blackmon of Barnesville. Paternal grandparents are Donald and Cheryl Whitaker of Covington.
