A Washington Park Circle man was arrested after Lamar sheriff’s deputies and NTF agents found methamphetamine cooking at his home.From Lamar County sheriff Brad White:Deputies with the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office and the Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at 102 Washington Park Circle.After receiving an anonymous tip deputies and agents responded to 102 Washington Park Circle. Agents saw a white male run from the rear of the residence into the house. Agents discovered several bottles in a trash pile containing methamphetamine waste material. These bottles contained hazardous materials known to agents in cooking methamphetamine utilizing the ‘one pot method’. Agents secured the only occupant in the house, a Mr. Jones. Agents then obtained a search warrant for the residence and executed it at approximately 5:00 p.m. Agents discovered several active bottles cooking methamphetamine.Keith Dewayne Jones was arrested and charged with possession of and manufacturing methamphetamine.
