Judge Byron Smith to handle criminal cases here

Senior judge E. Byron Smith will be on the bench as the criminal trial calendar is heard in Lamar superior court beginning Monday, July 15. Cases on the docket include: Jason Christopher Bates, obstruction of an officer and driving while license suspended; Clemon Eddie Pinyon, theft by taking; Jamarris Latuan Williams, theft by receiving stolen property; Stephen Lee Dukes, family violence aggravated assault; and in a separate case, possession of meth, possession and use of a drug-related object and obstruction of officers; John Parrott, child molestation and sexual battery against a child under age 16; Adrian Lavar Pridgon, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and improper display of license plates; Anthony Taylor, theft by deception; Howard Leon Anderson, tampering with evidence, obstruction of officers and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Damien Kimron Carter, possession of more than an ounce of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of illegal substances within 1,000 feet of a park and crossing the guard lines with drugs; Kelis Collier, simple battery; Heinz Fojutowski, trafficking methamphetamine or amphetamine; Michael Santiago, trafficking meth or amphetamine; Damone Vonzal Gates, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; Aleigha Lashawn Lofton, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and giving false information to law enforcement officer; Tyrone Vonterra Volley, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, two counts crossing the guard line with drugs and possession of a schedule II controlled substance; Dustin Shane High, criminal trespass and criminal attempt to commit a felony; Timothy Thomas, criminal attempt to commit a felony and criminal trespass; Marion David Vance, criminal attempt to commit a felony, criminal trespass and commission of tools for the commission of a crime; Richard Erik Wiseman, possession of a scheduled II controlled substance and obstruction of officers; William Garrett Edwards, first degree forgery and theft by receiving; Willie Floyd Perdue, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; Robert Dallas Blackmon, simple battery and battery; Dale E. Brown, family violence aggravated assault; Timothy Wayne Cherrior, possession of meth, possession and use of a drug related object and obstruction of officers; Oscar Charles Holmes, sale of cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute; Randall Crys Hubbard, failure to register as a sex offender; Katrina Lamar, theft by taking and financial identity fraud; Terry Murphy, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, obstruction of officers and simple battery; and in a separate case, aggravated stalking; Isaac Powell Penn, possession, manufacture or distribution of marijuana; Brian Keith Strickland, family violence battery and obstruction of an officer; Missy Dawn Wallace, aggravated assault and two counts third degree cruelty to children; Bryan Pierre Williams, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; Jamorris Antron Cole, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, speeding and failure to wear seat belt; Stephanie Berelus, two counts theft by shoplifting; Windy Elaine Chambers, theft by taking; Harris D.
