Judge Crumbley must hear motion that his puppy mill order be reconsidered

Substantial changes have been made in the timetable for a hearing on the state’s motion for reconsideration of an order by senior Judge Wade Crumbley that all dogs seized from an alleged puppy mill must be made available for veterinary exams paid for by defendants John David and Latitia Matthews. That hearing is now set for Thursday, May 23 at 11:30 a.m. with Judge Crumbley presiding. This hearing was originally set for June 4 before Judge Tommy Wilson. However, it was learned Judge Crumbley has to hear any request to amend his order, clerk of superior court Caleb Tyson reported Monday afternoon.
