The Diamond Trojans fought back from a first inning nine run deficit in Sandersville but came up just short against Washington County falling to the War Hawks 11-10 for their first loss of the year. The junior varsity Diamond Trojans registered a pair of wins over the past week including a 7-1 win at Washington County. Morgan Ford got the win on the mound pitching six innings and was relieved by Eli Housely who pitched one frame.
