Herald Gazette sportswriter and peerless local football historian Kenny Green is a patient at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon after suffering a stroke Tuesday. More information on his condition is expected today. Green was stricken four days before his alma mater plays in the first state championship football game in its history. UPDATE: Green will not require surgery and will be treated with medication. He can be weaned from his ventilator when he regains consciousness.
