Lamar County assured itself a home play-in game this week with a pair of wins last week. The Lady Trojans beat Spencer 18-0 on Senior Day then knocked off Callaway 17-1 in LaGrange. Lamar dropped a non-region contest to Upson-Lee 9-1 in Thomaston. In the win over Spencer, Hailey McKneely and Chloe Hubbard led the way with three hits each. McKneely homered, scored a pair of runs, drove home four runs and stole two bases. Hub-bard hit a single, double and triple, scored three times and had one RBI.
