Trying to better their performance last week when they won back-to-back games for the first time this season, the Lamar County Lady Trojans duplicated the feat. They beat Heard County and Callaway on consecutive nights. Macon County proved to be too much and derailed the team’s hopes of winning three in a row. In what coach Brandee Murrah called their best game this season, the Lady Trojans beat the region’s number two team 36-32 at home behind Aja Johnson who scored 15 points and added four assists and four rebounds.
