Lamar goes to Upson-Lee tonight and battles Callaway Friday at Trojan Field. Action begins both nights at 5:30 p.m. with the Trojans playing afterwards. ’This week will be pretty big for us. Upson-Lee is a strong AAAA program. They’ve had a little bad luck recently against good programs but were ranked in the top 10 earlier in the season. They are always a challenge for us. Callaway has won four straight since we beat them March 3. Friday’s game will have a huge impact on the region standings as we move closer to the playoffs,’ Calvert concluded.
