The #10 LC Lady Trojans (21-5) host unranked Putnam County (15-8) tonight in the region tournament championship game. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. at the LC gym.
Lamar advanced by topping Jasper County 64-60 Thursday night. Putnam made the final after a huge upset win over Southwest Atlanta Christian 58-52. SW was 21-1 and ranked #6 in the private school division going into that matchup. The Lady Warriors play only five girls, two of whom got into early foul trouble. Putnam hit 15 three-point shots in the upset.
