Lamar County sheriff’s deputies answered 119 calls for service. The 911 center answered 81 calls, deputies responded to 22 of the calls, Barnesville Police officers responded to 16 calls, Lamar County firefighters responded to 21 of the calls, Barnesville firefighters responded to 5 of the calls and Mid-Georgia Ambulance Service responded to 62 calls. There were 7 accidents, deputies served 10 state warrants and deputies issued 26 traffic citations.
