Between Friday, May 4, and Thursday, May 10, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests: Michael Kirk Patrick, 19, Barnesville, possession of alcohol under age 21; Nicholas Duwane Cook, 23, Barnesville, theft by taking, possession of a tool for the commission of a crime and criminal trespass; Alton Reese McKinley, 43, Zebulon, probation violation; Clifton Winston Warren, 26, Avondale Estates, probation violation; Octavus Delorengo McKinnon, 28, Riverdale, theft by receiving stolen property and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; Adrien Ellerby, 37, Barnesville, possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of cocaine; Angelique Kenjatta Rallings, 36, Riverdale, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and weaving over roadway; Cedric D. Zellars, 29, Atlanta, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; Paul Luther Nipper Jr., 26, Barnesville, possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of methamphetamine and possession of a drug related object; Chasity Katric Walker, 19, Thomaston, bench warrant. Deputies answered 143 calls and the 911 center answered 90. Deputies responded to 25 calls, the Barnesville police department responded to 27, Lamar firefighters to 19, the Barnesville fire department to two and Mid-Georgia Ambulance to 48. There were 15 accidents. Deputies served five warrants and issued 11 traffic citations.
