Lamar County Sheriff’s Report

Between Friday, June 1, and Thursday, June 7, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests: Avery Whipple, 43, no residence given, first degree forgery; Caweisi Darnoz Lavelle, 24, Barnesville, child molestation; Mike Lynn Caudill, 18, Nicholasville, Ky., probation violation; James Lee Bunn, 33, Griffin, driving while license suspended or revoked and theft by taking; Danny Starks, 60, Barnesville, disorderly conduct; McKenzie J. Williams, 27, Griffin, deposit account fraud; Stephen Suddeth, 46, Barnesville, disorderly conduct; Hewlett Mitchell Fletcher, 57, Barnesville, false report of a crime; Christopher Regis St. Fleur, 19, Macon, criminal trespass and obstruction of an officer; Maxwell Dylan White, 22, Thomaston, probation violation; Demarius Armond Jester, 29, Monroe, serving time; Kenya Denard Mitchell, 29, Tifton, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Cornelius Keaon White, 31, Tifton, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, following too closely and driving while license suspended or revoked; Nicholas Eugene Hill, 26, Milner, child support; Dale William Riggins, 52, Molena, open container, DUI alcohol, driving while license suspended or revoked, no license, reckless driving and driving on the wrong side of the road; Jon Ashton Martinez Finerty, 22, Mt. Dora, Fla., possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Alexander Drake Martinez Finerty, 19, Mt. Dora, Fla., possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and failure to maintain lane; Justin Bell, 19, Hampton, speeding, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and driving while license suspended or revoked; Kimberly Thompson, 45, Griffin, driving while license suspended or revoked and speeding; Shantaz Latidra Cole, 21, Bardenton, Fla. concealed weapon and giving false information; Terrance Leon Duncan, 23, Bardenton, Fla., concealed weapon and giving false information. Deputies answered 177 calls and the 911 center answered 100 calls. Deputies responded to 33 calls, the Barnesville police department to 29, Lamar County firefighters to 19, Barnesville fire department to one and Mid-Georgia Ambulance to 42. There were 11 accidents. Deputies served five warrants and 17 traffic citations.
