Lamar investigators jail alleged child predator

Investigators with the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office charged a Jackson, Georgia man with ten counts of sexual exploitation of children. Cleamon Dan Wiley, age 57 of Jackson, Georgia was charged with ten counts of Sexual Exploitation of children. Sgt. Laura Hughes, who was recently recognized by the GBI for being tough on crimes against children, gathered the evidence that led to the arrest. The Lamar County Sheriff’s Office is a member of the GBI ICAC Task Force. ’Through Sgt. Hughes hard work and dedication we have taken an alleged child predator off of the streets. We will continue to aggressively seek out child predators that attempt to victimize our children. The GBI ICAC Task Force is an excellent resource in fighting this criminal element,’ Lamar sheriff Brad White said.
