Lamar NAACP president Sandra Puckett is calling on all citizens here to stop what they are doing at noon Saturday to pray for those impacted by the Charleston church shootings. ”We as community leaders must continue to pray and ask God to help us to understand and know how to stand up against evil and shine a light on the darkness that wants to destroy our nation. There is still much to be done and together in prayer we can do it,” Puckett said.
