Lamar Sheriff’s Report

Between Friday, May 18, and Thursday, May 24, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests:Alegandro Anabor, 29, Griffin, contempt of court;Lora Ann Jarman, 43, no residence given, deposit account fraud;James Lofton Busby III, 34, Coffeeville, Mich., possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of methamphetamine, obstruction of an officer, possession of a drug-related object, drugs not in original container, no insurance, driving while license suspended or revoked and other charges;Joshua Adam Smith, 25, Barnesville, speeding and driving while license suspended or revoked;Benquavius Charquil Paige, 18, Griffin, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;Andre Larlel Bess, 22, Griffin, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;Jennifer Leigh Stegall, 34, Barnesville, DUI alcohol and weaving over roadway;Laverna Moorer, 55, Hampton, operation of raffles;Andrea Harris Boatwright, 37, Blackshear, possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of meth;Dennis Marcerson Martin Jr., 38, Blackshear, possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of meth and weaving over roadway;Donna Lynne Coates, 52, Milner, arrested for another agency, and a separate charge of criminal trespass and theft by taking;Benjamin Adam Creswell, 22, Griffin, failure to appear;James Eric Rogers, 24, Forsyth, driving while license suspended or revoked;Leonard Deon Clark, 25, Mableton, probation violation;Johnny Dwayne Flournoy, 21, Thomaston, probation violation;Donnie Steven Job, 56, Griffin, disorderly conduct and other charges;Cortney Terrell Green, 35, Doraville, probation violation.Deputies answered 158 calls and the 911 center answered 111. Deputies responded to 30 calls, the Barnesville fire department to 31, Lamar County firefighters to 19, Barnesville fire department to four and Mid-Georgia Ambulance Service to 41. There were 12 accidents. Deputies served four warrants and issued eight traffic citations.
