Lamar County is now at 14 confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to the noon Monday case count released by DPH. The number of local cases has doubled since the 7 p.m. Sunday count. Statewide there were 7314 confirmed cases with 1332 hospitalizations and 229 deaths. Surrounding counties: Pike: 9 Upson: 22 Monroe: 10 with 1 death. Butts: 17 Spalding: 41 with 2 deaths.
