LC soccer wins three of four

The LCHS soccer teams had a good week as they won three of four matches played in cold, damp weather.The Lady Trojans walloped Central Macon 7-0 Feb. 24. Alexis Bedgood, Brailey Davis, Sydney Tenney, Sydney Moore and Katie Jo Daniel all had goals for the Lady Trojans.On Feb. 27, Lamar hosted Bleckley at Trojan Field in a game that was moved here from Cochran due to wet conditions there. LC’s previously scheduled home game vs. the Royals later this season will now be played on the road. LC won the match 3-0 behind a hat trick by Daniel.Meanwhile, the Trojans lost a tight, 1-0 decision to Central Macon then blasted Bleckley 6-0.Alex Guzman, Chase Bennett, Bryce Garner, Chandler Francis, Cullen Bennett and Dawson Davis each had goals for Lamar in the rout of the Royals.The LC teams host Macon County Tuesday at Trojan Field. They travel to Jones County Friday.
