The LC Lady Trojans travel to Mableton today to take on Whitefield Academy in the Elite 8 round of the GHSA Class A, Div. 1 state volleyball playoffs. The match gets underway at 5:30 p.m.
The Lady Trojans cruised through the first two rounds of the playoffs without losing a single set last week.
On Wednesday, they traveled to Camilla and ousted the Mitchell County Eagles three sets to zero: 25-13, 25-9 and 25-11.
On Saturday they went to Crawford County and returned with another straight set win 25-16, 25-12 and 25-12.
