LCCCA finalist for $3.16 million grant

The fledgling Lamar County Charter & Career Academy is one of four finalists of $3.16 million in state grant funding.Three of the four finalists will get the grants.The local steering committee plans to use the money to create a school within a school program at LCCHS which will open in 2011.
