The class of 2010 ‘“ some 170 strong ‘“ will march across the stadium to the sounds of Pomp and Circumstance at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 29 to receive diplomas.Valedictorian and STAR student, Laura West is the daughter of Jimmy and Tina West. She plans to attend Gordon College, where she has taken classes through the ACCEL program.Salutatorian David Henry is the son of Rolfe and Janine Henry. The Southern Rivers Energy EMC delegate on the 2009 Washington Youth Tour, he has been accepted to the University of Georgia and Mercer University.Other 2010 honor graduates are: ‘¢ Courtney Allison, daughter of Brad and Dr. Jenny Allison; plans to attend Georgia Southwestern University, academic/soccer scholarship, to major in exercise science.’¢ Alyssia Anderson, daughter of Kaye Ogletree and Ralph Anderson; plans to study health information management at Macon State College.’¢ Allie Bankston, daughter of Douglas and Hope Bankston; will attend Georgia College and State University this fall.’¢ Megan Carter, daughter of John Barry Carter III and Lori Carter; to Gordon College on softball scholarship for pre-pharmacy, then South University in Savannah pharmacy school.’¢ Kirsten Fisher, daughter of Tonya Sills and Tom Fisher; Georgia Southern University, fashion merchandising and apparel design, and minor in communications.’¢ Tara Fletcher, daughter of Lonnie and Shara Fletcher; to Valdosta State University for degree in medical business and major in early childhood education.’¢ Kaitlyn Fraley, daughter of Jo and Jeff Gahm; plans to attend Georgia Southern University in fall.’¢ Betsy Gladden, daughter of David and Amy Waller; to Gordon and then transfer to Mercer University to become a registered pharmacist.’¢ Alayna Gulayets, daughter of Myron and Mary Gulayets; to Gordon’s nursing program, eventually becoming a certified neonatal nurse.’¢ Virginia Harrell, daughter of Christopher Harrell and Theresa Senechek; to Gordon’s core classes, then UGA or North Georgia College and State University for pre-veterinary.’¢ Coleman Hicks, son of Harold Hicks and Annette Hicks; plans to attend American Intercontinental University to study audio engineering.’¢ Annie Hudgins, granddaughter of Delia and Earl Cagle; to Gordon nursing program, then to become an RN and work in the emergency room at a hospital in Macon.’¢ Kaci Jenkins, daughter of Russ and Pat Jenkins; plans to attend the Art Institute of Atlanta and major in baking and pastry.’¢ Travis A.
