Students from Lamar County High School recently visited the Gordon State College campus and sat in on a nursing class taught by Samantha Bishop, associate professor of nursing. The Lamar students, many of whom expressed an interest in becoming a nurse, also took part in a quiz using clicker technology. The technology allows students to anonymously respond to questions. The responses allow the instructor to immediately assess if students understand the material being taught.
