They may not be republished or disseminated in any form or format – including social media – without explicit permission. ********************* According to a booking report from the Upson County Sheriff’s Office website, Boyd was arrested on one count of misdemeanor theft by taking and one count of simple battery (family violence). Boyd who resides at 119 Sherwood Drive in Thomaston was released on an $8000 bond. ”We are aware of the charges against Mr. Boyd. The school system does not have a comment on this matter at this time,” school superintendent Dr. Jute Wilson said.
