LCMS Trojans to host playoff game

The Lamar County Middle School Trojan football team will host Carver Road Middle School of Griffin in the first round of the Central Georgia Middle School Athletic Association playoffs Wednesday, Oct. 13 at Trojan Field.The MS Trojans finished in a three-way tie for first place in the East Division of the CGMSAA with Henderson of Jackson and Gray Station of Jones County, all with 5-1 records. Lamar got the second seed for their division under the league’s tie-breaker rule.Gray Station is seeded first with Henderson seeded third. Lamar and Carver Road met last year in the championship game for the CGMSAA with the MS Trojans winning the title 20-6 in Griffin. Kickoff is 5 p.m. Admission is $5.
