LCSO K9 Felony takes down alleged burglar

Felony, a K9 deputy assigned to Lt. Chris Webster of the LCSO, apprehended an alleged church burglar who fled from Webster and other deputies Monday afternoon. The man was first spotted on Chappell Mill Rd. by investigator Al White who called in support. The suspect jumped into a vehicle and backed away from White at a high speed down a private drive. Webster spotted the truck off Van Buren Road shortly thereafter. When the suspect fled on foot, Felony was deployed and took the man down. It turned out the truck had been stolen in Henry County. There was also a firearm – possibly stolen – in the vehicle. Deputies and investigators quickly tied the man to burglaries at an abandoned home and a local church. More to follow….
