Lamar County sheriff’s investigators are working a rape case that occurred Monday afternoon at a home on Camp Road. Deputies were dispatched at 5:08 p.m. A woman reported a male came into her home, placed a bag over her head and raped her. The investigation is ongoing and no further details will be released at present, sheriff Brad White reported.
