Mr. Leroy Parks, 69, of Zebulon passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014 at his home. He was born May 28, 1944 in Macon, son of the late Willie and Clara Allen Parks. Mr. Parks was retired as an electrical technician from Aldora Mills. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Steve Hollis of Zebulon; son and a daughter-in-law, Roy and Teresa Parks of Thomaston; son, Chris Parks of Zebulon; grandchildren, Lorissa Lane Turbyville and her husband Jason, Jesse Parks, Lorina Allen, Ashli Trice and her husband Joel, Nat Suddeth, Kayla Hollis, Brandon Parks and Layla Parks; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donnie Parks and Paul Parks. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Cathy Buice Parks; and brothers James Parks, Gordon Parks and Charles Parks. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Salem Cemetery in Upson County with Rev. Anthony Sharpe officiating.
