A lifeflight chopper has been summoned for a 64-year-old male who was operating a golf cart when he was hit by a Mini Countryman on Thomaston Street in front of the Barnesville library. The crash happened at about 12:15 p.m. Tuesday. No other injuries were reported and the injured man was conscious and responding.
The crash comes as the City of Barnesville is in the throes of considering a golf cart ordinance.
