Linda Gulledge Grosshans obituary

Mrs. Linda Eloise Gulledge Grosshans, 65, of 1176 Hannah’s Mill Rd., Thomaston, died Friday, July 6, 2012 at Christian Ministries Hospice. Mrs. Grosshans was a native of Detroit, Mich., but had lived in Thomaston since 2007. She was a homemaker and spent countless hours as an animal advocate and participated in numerous animal rescue efforts. She also served as a caregiver for the elderly in the community. Mrs. Grosshans is survived by her husband, Gene Grosshans; two daughters, Laura Lubitz of Lake Odessa, Mich., and Rosie Noel of Sneads Ferry, N.C.; a brother, Ron (Sally) Gulledge of Macomb, Mich.; two brothers-in-law, Melvin Grosshans of Romeo, Mich., and Fred Grosshans of Venice, Fla.; four grandchildren, Joshua Gould, Corinna Gould, Robert Noel and David Noel; and several cousins. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 10, 2012 in the Chapel of the Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home with Rev. Carey Pitts officiating. Burial was in Lamar Memory Gardens.
