Christopher Hightower reports that plans have been finalized for the local celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day here Jan. 16. The Fulfilling the Mission March will organize at the E.P. Roberts Center at 9:30 a.m. Breakfast prior to the march will be served at the center at 8:30 a.m. Marchers will walk from the center to the courthouse for the Unity Ceremony and back. School superintendent Dr. Bill Truby will give the keynote address. To follow will be a Commemoration Service at East Mount Sinai Baptist Church at 11 a.m.
