Local skaters work as stunt doubles

Three local youths got the opportunity of a lifetime when they were asked to work as skating stunt doubles for the stars of the ‘Rectify’ series currently filming in the area.The ‘Rectify’ operation contacted Jona Owing, owner of Hazard County Skate Park in McDonough, searching for skaters for an upcoming episode.Local skater and Hazard County skate team member Eli Williams was chosen along with Hazard skaters Cameron Ellison and Chris Coffman. Rehearsals began in Griffin on Thursday, July 12 with the actual filming taking place on Friday, July 13th.
