The Flint River Council of the Boy Scouts will hold a Loop-o-Ree Saturday, Oct. 5, at the recreation department. The event will include archery and baseball range, flag football, hiking, art, map and compass, marbles and ultimate Frisbee. The cost is $10 with registration at 8 a.m. at the baseball fields. The program will run from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. All boys in first through fifth grade are welcome. Those who are not Boy Scouts can be registered on site for no extra charge.
