On June 20, 2013 at 2:45 p.m. investigators from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office- Drug Task Force, deputies from Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, and officers from Forsyth Police Department conducted a search warrant at 88 North Frontage Road in Forsyth. Upon the arrival of the Drug Squad the house was occupied by multiple individuals. After a search was completed a resident, Horace Ray Wise, 30 years old, was taken into custody for the charges below: VGCSA ‘“ Possession with Intent to Distribute ‘“ Marijuana VGCSA ‘“ Possession with Intent to Distribute ‘“ Dangerous Drugs VGCSA ‘“ Possession of Marijuana Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony Reckless Conduct for Child Endangerment VOP ‘“ Violation of Probation (State) Wise is also a registered sex offender. A bond has not been set for him. After further investigation Kontrina Lanette Toomer, 27 years old, who also lived in the home, was also arrested and charged with: VGCSA ‘“ Possession with Intent to Distribute ‘“ Marijuana Reckless Conduct for Child Endangerment ** Additional Charges could be forthcoming pending investigation. Toomer is a Police Officer with the City of Macon Police Department. She was relieved of her gun, badge and other MPD related items by Macon Police Internal Affairs Division while detained at Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. She and Wise resided in the home together. Toomer was released on an OR (Own Recognizance) bond shortly after her arrest. Seized during the search warrant was over eleven (11) ounces of Marijuana packaged for sale along with pills of undetermined origin, a semi-automatic handgun and over $4,000.00 (four thousand dollars).
